Welcome to Vel Travels. By booking our taxi services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

Vel Travels provides taxi and travel services in and around Coimbatore and across Tamil Nadu. By making a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Booking Confirmation

• A booking is confirmed only after receiving confirmation via phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or email.

• Customers must provide accurate details such as pickup location, drop location, date, and time.

• Vel Travels is not responsible for delays caused due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

3. Fares & Payments

• Fares are based on distance, trip type (local, outstation, hourly), and vehicle selected.

• Toll charges, parking fees, state permit charges, and driver allowance (if applicable) may be extra.

• Payment can be made via Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer, or other accepted payment methods.

• Full or partial advance payment may be required for outstation trips.

4. Cancellation & Refund

• Cancellations must be informed at least 2 hours before pickup time.

• Cancellation charges may apply depending on trip type and timing.

• Advance payments (if any) may be refunded after deducting applicable charges.

• No refund will be provided for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.

5. Waiting Charges

• Drivers will wait up to 15–30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.

• Additional waiting time may attract extra charges.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must:

• Treat drivers respectfully.

• Avoid carrying illegal or prohibited items.

• Not smoke, consume alcohol, or engage in unlawful activities inside the vehicle.

• Ensure they do not damage the vehicle. Any damage will be charged to the customer.

7. Luggage Policy

• Passengers are responsible for their luggage.

• Vel Travels is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

• Excess luggage must be informed at the time of booking.

8. Delays & Force Majeure

Vel Travels is not liable for delays caused by:

• Traffic conditions

• Weather conditions

• Roadblocks

• Government restrictions

• Vehicle breakdowns beyond control

However, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements when possible.

9. Driver & Vehicle Substitution

We reserve the right to change the assigned vehicle or driver due to operational or emergency reasons. A similar category vehicle will be provided whenever possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

Vel Travels shall not be held responsible for:

• Missed trains, flights, or appointments due to unforeseen delays

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Customer negligence

11. Privacy

All personal information provided during booking is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
